What you'll need

  • Letter of credit from a previous gas or electric utility (minimum of one year of service within the last 24 months, no more than two delinquency notices)
  • Qualified guarantor form (current PSE residential customer in good standing)
  • AutoPay enrollment confirmation (PSE AutoPay or bank online bill pay) for deposit waiver requests

Deposit

A deposit may be required to start service. If required, it appears on the next regular bill on an installment plan to be paid in full within 90 days (first half, then quarters). May be waived via AutoPay, letter of credit, or qualified guarantor. Refunded with interest after 12 consecutive months of satisfactory payments (unless three or more past-due notices).

Starting service with PSE

A one-time billing initiation fee will be added to your first bill: $6.10 for one fuel or $7.50 for two fuels (electricity and natural gas). You can view your account details and manage your service by creating or logging into your MyPSE account at pse.com.
