Portland General Electric delivered electricity at sampled addresses across Salem, Gresham, Hillsboro and Beaverton, and at many, but not all. Portland addresses, which is genuinely split territory within the city. Move east to Bend or south to Medford and the utility changes to Pacific Power (part of the PacifiCorp family), a completely separate company with its own rates and outage crews.
Oregon doesn't run a retail electricity market, so there's no supplier to shop for. Whichever utility holds your address delivers the power and bills you directly. Gas and water aren't consistently confident yet in our sampling for these cities, so it's worth confirming those accounts individually at the address level, especially in Portland given the split electric territory.
